Our History

Maybern (Red) and Adelaide Shugart established Monument Lumber Company in 1952 at 2111 Freedom Boulevard in Freedom California.

Monument Lumber was created to serve contractors, homeowners, and industrial customers. 

Today, under the direction of second-generation owners Mark and Calvin Shugart, Monument Lumber has maintained a high customer service standard specializing in high quality lumber and hardware at competitive prices.
